1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading and using Ritual: Breathe & Reflect ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. About Ritual

Ritual is a mindfulness and emotional reflection application developed by Maxi Ruti. The App allows you to record "Sighs" and "Joys," track emotional trends, and visualize your internal climate.

3. Feature Availability & Ritual Pro

The App currently provides access to various features that may be categorized as "Pro" in future updates.

• We reserve the right to introduce a paid "Pro" tier or subscription model at any time.
• Users during the initial launch phase may be granted "Legacy" status at the developer's discretion, though this is not a guaranteed right.
• We reserve the right to modify, move, or remove features between free and paid tiers without prior notice.

4. Use of the App

You agree to:

• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. User Content & Data Sovereignty

You retain all rights to your reflections, sighs, joys, and any custom settings you create. This data is stored in a private database on your device. We do not collect or have access to your personal entries. Portability features (CSV/JSON Export) are currently provided as a courtesy and may be restricted to a premium tier in future updates. Users who have been granted Legacy status retain permanent access to export features regardless of future tier changes.

6. Cloud Synchronization

The App uses Apple's iCloud services to synchronize your data between your authorized devices. This process is managed by the operating system. If synchronization is disabled via iOS System Settings, the App will continue to function as a local-only experience.

IMPORTANT: Ritual is a self-reflection tool only. It is not a substitute for professional mental health advice, therapy, or medical diagnosis.

• The App is not intended for use in crisis situations
• If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services immediately
• You assume all risks associated with your emotional self-tracking

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAXI RUTI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

9. No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to our website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Ritual offers optional in-app purchases, including a Pro subscription and a one-time lifetime access option, processed through Apple's App Store. By making a purchase, you also agree to Apple's Terms of Sale.
